Love Poem: Memory of Love

Memory of Love

I recall a love in my carefree youth, oh, he was sexy and handsome and tall; still have the picture from a photo booth, would wait breathless for his expected call. I loved him with an aching surrender, and I was obsessed with his bad boy ways; and his kisses were always so tender, all through the summer heat we were ablaze. Oh, our lust journey had no tomorrow, but was wrapped in breathless words erotic; then, summer ended and I felt sorrow, he left town and my heart was chaotic. I will not forget my prince in leather; though not meant to ever be together. _________________________ June 6, 2020 Poetry/Sonnet/Memory of Love Copyright Protected/ ID 20-1258-593-03 All Rights Reserved/ Canada/ Constance La France
