Memories
The first time I saw her,
I wanted to know her name,
And when we first talked,
I felt warmth in her wonderful gaze.
We spent our first day together,
At a beautiful canyon park bonfire,
Sharing our feelings of love for the Lord,
Through getting to know each other.
In an instant I knew that she,
Was someone like me,
Whom I could get to know,
With pure intent, and I believed.
From that day on until forever sealed,
And all throughout our marriage,
Every day with pure love we healed,
And each morning's dawn we cherished.
We are each other’s best friend,
And I know we will always be,
One another’s greatest blessing,
To have and hold through all eternity.
We have come so far together,
Supporting with love and making better,
Going to our sacred Lord in peace,
Our sure true guide and constant King.
With all our desires and dreams,
We tenderly hold and love between,
It’s great to look back to feel and see,
All our wonderful and precious memories.
