Love Poem: Meeting Love Actually

Meeting Love Actually

Profusely sweating underneath the heat
spiraling off the florescent disco ball above

2 blinking bleary-eyes revelers from afar
across a crowded dancefloor meet

And slowly like one sucks spaghetti up
into one's mouth in order to eat

The pair of them are being drawn
ever closer together with every single

Skipped heartbeat and music note
rampaging through the speaker's

Call it serendipitous cupid showing
it's hand just blind luck or fate

From that moment forth and when
this night eventually draws to a close and ends

This story now begins
