Meet me in my dreams, if only for tonight...
I unwind as I draw you in, things finally feel right.
A tranquil breeze on carefree seas; a second wind - take flight!
Meet me in the air, we’ll merge and spiral out of sight!
Remember with me fearless days - we rode out every tide;
jumped back into the surf as tangled bodies would collide.
We frolicked amidst sand and foam, no prompting foolish pride,
and freely fell into each other, stronger side by side.
No doubt unfurled its flag in fear of all the beauty there;
no rage stormed on out of control, no orchestra of tears.
The music played, though, soft and sweet, a tune pure hearts could hear,
as if a melody for Him upon a midnight clear.
