Me, Myself, and I

Just Me, Myself, and I
By LoLa

I got a head start on your wandering eyes
I got a hangover paranoia bleeding out the lies
I want the kinda future that you’ll never be
You’ll never be a very pretty sight to me again

I Hope you’re banking on your overhangin brow
I hope your friends are really hatin on me now
We know that this was never forever weather
There was a silver lining we couldnt find together

When looking back I never saw you comin
Comin up for air; we ran away from nothin
But now the sun is shining on my ocean eyes
Truer skies than I ever saw through your alibies

Dont even think that i’ll fail without ya
I hope you can see me shine without ya now
Give me a melody to bring these words to life
My life’s a self-destrctive, polarizing knife

Cause there are two sides to every weapon
You know I cant deny; these feelings building up
And I cant despise; the way the shade is wearin on me
I need the sun to burn this frostbitten heart and blind me

When people ask me; I’d it all again
I’ll spread my wings to end what you began
I’ll never look back; I’ll find another now
My life’s a love song in this lonely mountain town

And I will love my crazy eyes that never compromise
While me, myself and I, will flee the land of the wise
Spare me your suitcase of schitzophrenic memories
Busy bees surviving burning trees and strings of sanity

Mindless and blind; we’ll fall in love with it all
Forgotten in the wake of crashing waves of the fall
To find a girl to love in a reckless kinda way
The place that lives in the ashes of imaginary yesterdays
