Love Poem: Masked Emotions

Masked Emotions

Mystery man in disguise,
I know I have lied.
Shadows of the night,
have disguised the morning light.
Please put up a fight.
I can reclaim the light,
and take back the night.
Masks of confusion now mended.
Lies of frustration,
revealed.
Deep dark secrets given new light.
Convince me to fight.
I lurk in your shadows.
I feel your hidden pain.
I see your confusion.
I feel your frustration.
I dangle in your lack of self esteem.
Relentlessly fighting,
to strip off your disguise.
Unmask yourself my dear loved one.
Set your fears and insecurities free.
Fly like a bird,
way up high.
You will soar through the sky.
Release the fear of today and you will find the gratification of tomorrow.
Unleash the disguise.
Cry,
start over,
find a new beginning.
Hold onto your heart.
Let go of your chaotic head.
Live, love and be free again to fly.
True love and friendship will never die.
Hold onto your heart,
my angel
and watch yourself fly.
