Love Poem: Mary Cried

Mary Cried

When They crucified The saviour Mary cried,
WHen they placed the thorns upon his head
The spear within his side.………….
and I know within my heart she had to weep,
as they gambled for his garments at his feet.

Mary, Mary don’t you see,
that he died to set all sinners free…………..
Mary, Mary don’t you cry…………..
For I know you’ll be with him bye and bye.

When they placed him in the tomb Mary cried,
When they rolled the stone to block the way
With Jesus locked inside.
And on the third day as if the soldiers were asleep,
The stone was rolled, Jesus rose, and I know that Mary weeped.

 Mary, Mary don’t you see
that he died to set all sinners free……….
Mary, Mary don’t you cry………..
For I know that you’ll be with him bye and bye.

When he ascended into heaven Mary cried,
For she wanted to stay with him to be close by his side…
But he told them my work on earth is through….
And I go to prepare a place for you.

Mary, Mary don’t you see
that he died to set all sinners free…….
Mary, Mary don’t you cry……..
For I know that you’ll be with him bye and bye.
