Making Choices
Everyone has a choice to make,
As they travel through their life.
Everyone will ponder their choice,
not wanting to make a mistake.
Many will choose the easy way,
no strength or focus is required.
Some have a need to do their best,
“I want adventure”, they will say.
To them each turn brought something new,
and challenges were always there.
Each victory brought a lesson learned,
with each lesson confidence grew.
The choice was never right or wrong,
for life is not easy or hard.
Love God first, others, then thyself,
Life will be purposeful and long.
