Love Poem: Making...

Making...

Laying here beside my love
my thoughts dwindle of our making...
Making the sweat that now drys up on our bodies,
that was beading out a few moments ago,
slowly departing our skin, slowly traveling throughout our bodies
and dispensing upon the sheets,
upon this pillow; that was covering my mouth:
My wet, bitten mouth...
Letting immerse animal like moans yet, human pleasure.
Our minutes do not whisper to our ear telling us:
What about the time?
Do you not see the clock?
Have you checked the hours of your watch?
But the only watch that we are using, is the one to use on one another.
Both laying down to tired to smile, but we do anyway.
Even more to tired to move, but we do any way, to be closer to each other.
And once we touch we seem to melt after the rekindling sigh;
that sigh that lets out all those words of thought without being pronounce,
but we understand.
After all that making...
Laying here beside my love,
asleep.
