A thousand times I’ve wanted to share
These euphoric sensations I feel inside
But you’ll never see this longing heart
Cause It’s far too easy to hide.. I hide
I know that I want what I can’t have
But girl your words can make me dream
And when I get lost in your poetic lines
Nothing that’s real is what it seems
I close my eyes and almost feel your kiss
Your tender touch takes my breath away
That look you give, oh wow it draws me in
Your scent, I’m speechless.. no words to say
On your page your works lay me bare
If not for guilt, my soul I’d confide
God knows I’d sail across the furthest sea
If in the end.. in you I’d hide, I’d hide
And just like that your final line is read
Your pen is down and I suddenly awake
That mesmerizing face now just an avatar
Give me more words before it’s too late
