LuLoo

What can be said of a friend so true
Like my good friend known as LuLoo
She is talented in so many grand ways
And I could praise her for days and days

But let's just say, so the world can see
She has become a 'daughter' to me
We have shared so many things on Soup
Things that can't be divulged to a group

Late night chats of the past day's events
Some of which made little sense
But to her they needed to be discussed
I listened intently and never fussed

At the end of each session, she'd always say
Thanks, 'Dad', you just made my day
To which I would respond in kind
I love you as if you were a daughter of mine

Because you have shared without second thought
The things that had you feeling so frought
And I offered suggestions that I hoped might
Make you know everything's all right

So go to sleep, dear 'daughter' of mine
And rest assured that all will be fine
For on these calls, a friendship is made
And of the outcome, you need not be afraid

The element of trust that she placed in me
Served to help us both to see
That a bond of friendship formed with the Lord
Made a superior strong three stranded cord

A cord that for a life time could not be broken
A friendship so strong, no words need be spoken
So allow me to introduce my 'daughter' to you
My very dear friend simply known as LuLoo
