Love Poem: Lullaby

Lullaby

Your core need not mend
this love must not pretend
to be here in your arms
it never harms
I'm hanging on to fancy
if by redemption to chance be
to revel in it's magnitude
risen in it's altitude
forever not clutching embarrassment
to not agree in any settlement
that is if that deem discussion
I would tell you to hush, Hon
for there will be no heartache
no stomach turning to Aspartate
