Love Poem: Loving You and Letting Go

Loving You and Letting Go

Hanging off a ledge
The fear of falling from this life
We’ve climb and climb to the edge
Letting go will take some time

Lost in our emotions
Love and hate so intertwined
The feelings will last forever
A love like ours will be hard to find

The days and nights go by so slowly
Feeling left and all alone
Still sharing four walls around you
Feeling sick like no one’s home

Strange how things change
It’s going to be a scary - lonely road
Living this life without you

Loving you and Letting go

Loving you and Letting go

The nights are what hurt the most
Without your body by myside
We’d lie so close together
We could read each other’s mind

You were always right there for me
And I’d do anything for you
We can’t get our ___ together
So what the hell is left to do

We keep playing this silly game
It’s so hard letting go
We both say we’ll be ok
But the truth is we both know

(Bridge)

The pain inside
The truth denied
The fear of the unknown

The history
The memories
It’s the only life we’ve known

Now were on the ledge
Out on the edge
Bitter sweet memories

The love we’ve shared
The dreams we’ve dared
I’m lost in love and misery

The days and nights go by so slowly
Feeling left and all alone
Still sharing four walls around you
Feeling sick like no one’s home

Strange how things change
It’s going to be a scary - lonely road
Living this life without you

Loving you and Letting go
