Loving Recall
My heart remembers times spent in the sun
although our days of bliss have long since passed,
and now I dream of new things to be done
hoping the springtime of our love will last.
My heart still feels your body’s virile glow,
the energy of life that is all you.
Oh, hold me tightly in your arms my love
as I revisit passions, I once knew.
My soul will always feel as if it knows you
from some other spirit, life or place
and when I looked into your eyes so deeply
I saw our love reflected on your face.
My lips recall the sweetness of your kisses,
the sudden whirlwind that swept me away.
No other man can say he’s won my wishes.
