Love's Journey

Love’s Journey

Cherry blossoms floated pink
Concocting love in a drink
The day we met…
Holding time upon the brink
(Future and the Past in sync)
As in a net
We drank the love with each blink
And passing glance—scared to think
Of it—and yet,
Licking hands of time were set
Devouring with regret,
The morning dew…
But with each dance, somehow, let
Blossom, love, and passion get
Entwined anew
And there drink—‘less we forget
In noon day sun—when we met—
How blossoms flew.
Now as stars on purple hue
Contrast pinks for me and you
And petals fall…
A comet hails from the blue
Regaling the love we knew—
A fireball—
Bright hot blaze, still burns for you,
Held in time’s conundrum flue…
You’re still my all.
