Love's Fool

My eyes hold you gently, caress you as soft as feathers. My lips shall offer
whispers to rest upon your cheek, My heart it yearns of wanting and you shall
always seek. Treat my shoulder as your pillow. Let these arms surround, find
your peace in my love and your dreams be profound. Be my night, my moon,
my sky, be the cloud on which I lie. Be the day, the blossoms fall. Be the sun
and Skylarks call. The grass beneath my feet, the fragrance that fills the air.
You are this and more, you are life, breathed of fire, passion and desire,
brought to me by a Gods compassionate hand. And, I a lifetime of gratitude.
How real you are but reality hurts, as at dawns first sigh, a tears wells the
corner of the eye. For all the nightly charms you lie in another's arms,
unrequited my love to be.
