Love's a Poem
Love's a poem penned for the soul,
it exists wherever dreams form.
And yet, it can levy a toll,
heartaches often become the norm.
Touting love as a dreamer might,
you want it to feel explosive.
And when it doesn't feel quite right,
acid tears can turn corrosive.
Rejection devastates your heart,
instantly turning blue skies grey.
And feeling life's falling apart,
panic starts to obscure your way.
While pursuing inspiration,
hope navigates fate's changing course.
And fuels imagination
by following love to its source.
