Love Poem: Lover's Moon

Lover's Moon

I wonder what the moon must think
As it watches lovers dance
This light that brightens our darkest hours
Can also bring romance

At least a million poems are written
About the lover's moon
Her smile is seen throughout the night
As she watches lovers swoon

The moon and stars all gather round
To see this thing called love
And with heightened anticipation
They watch from up above

The stars can feel the romance build
As they give the moon a wink
But the lover's moon ignores their glance
Tho they still continue to blink

The lover's moon is a special moon
It's not like all the rest
Its shine is filled with rays of hope
Where endless love's confessed

So when you see that lover's moon
Don't ever let it fade
Her voice is heard where lovers dance
A midnight serenede
