Lovers and Poets

Lovers And Poets

Our words have flown across the page,
and given birth to your sweet name.
In my quiet hours I reconstruct
a face that angels never could attain.
Powerless I am from turning back
nothing untouched, nothing quite the same.

Reactions warm and hearts do race,
when promises are given and proclaimed.
I will paint your body with warm embrace.
Days are good, but nights will surely flame.
Kiss my face and hold me close,
curl in my arms, please posses my name.

Words of yours in eternity shall express,
why two souls forever in love be found.
You have played this pleasurable song for me.
I am enthralled by the rapturous sound.
To you I dream that I may wish,
in God's strong hands be bound!
