Love Poem: Lovers
Sara Kendrick Avatar
Written by: Sara Kendrick

Lovers

I see them dancing
Across the Milky Way
I see them singing
In the sky mid-day

Theirs is a song
Made for lovers
Hearts rejoicing
Beating as one

They are floating
To the rhythm
Of the music
As if they were still young

Touching, reflecting
Back to ones
They loved
From a constellation

High above,
Today still in love
And they're still relating
To us from above

As they sail
The heavenly sky
They send a message
That there are no goodbyes

I view their touching
Movements
The universe
Their dance floor

The clouds gather
To applause once more
Clapping floating
Singing from the sky

(This is dedication to my parents M.K. and Marie Morgan, who when they were young loved
to dance. I got the idea when listening to John Denver singing the song "A Song For All
Lovers". My father has been dead for 13 years and mother who has been dead for ll years.
They both lived to be almost 97 years old. They adopted me when I was 19 months and
they were 47 and 45 years old. I had trouble with the flow some words included are sent to
me from James Frazer.)
