Lovers?
Never in her wildest dreams would she have admitted it,
but by the time she regained her equilibrium,
they were gone.
She found them refreshing and mildly intoxicating,
she was fascinated by their glow,
the drugs they took really put on a show,
and without warning they were gone.
A crushing emotion rose between them,
she was clearly upset.
" How could you do it?"

they wanted it, together, at the time.
The drugs were gone, and the high was wearing off,
he wanted nothing more to say.

perhaps in limbo,
as she felt very weak.
The belt released from her neck that they never really knew was there,
darkness entered his mind, and in her heart there was fear.
He didn't know when to stop,
and she couldn't control him,
together willing for the moment,
apart forever because of it...
