Love Poem: Loverina

Loverina

The first time laying eyes on you
I would have never knew
You an angel whose radiance from their smile
Surrounding us, when we walked down the aisle,
Would spin my world in blissful charms.
Whose delicacy and mannerism in their walk rippling to the shore like a river into my arms
Would be the remedy to my bradycardia -
A desolated lethargic rate of the aorta.
This serendipitous relation
Felt surreal transcending any comforting elation.
Your gregarious character is the “lub dub” to my heart

I know that it’s difficult us being apart.
Undoubtedly, I loathe it as I do being on a highway stuck in traffic
Despite the distance this music from my speaker is rhythmic, intrinsic…prolific,
Nevertheless, as time perpetuates
And traffic slowly abates our distance abridges
Your unceasing music seductively stimulates to keep me focused and awake.
So when the time is…now, I will hold you and look at you once again like it’s my first take.
Being intertwined in mind, body and soul I know you and I can conquer any earthquake.

Without regard the world can be tumultuous at times
But I find peace when I stare into your eyes.
It calms me more than the middle of a tornado
Like a blanketed pasture in a misty meadow.
Vibrant and green resembling Sphene,
But mystically orange as in a sunset scene.
Your poetic spell has put me in a trance
The snaps from your poem has put me in a dance.

My heart standing on the rail you teach me ronde de jambe en l’iare
Your personality reaches out and lifts me up like hot air,
Plie.
Although love has been unkind in the past I’ve opened up more and more to you
Releve.
Is it just me? That does not want this venture to end
Passe.
Before I know it I put it all together and you and I have been spinning and spinning in your lyrics
Fouette.
