Love Poem: Lovely Bones

Lovely Bones

The wind is w i l d- and birds chirp and my hair blows,
as I walk the long twisted path to their tombs.
Oh, I have made this journey a thousand times,
and now-   I stand above the lovely bones of those I love;
I touch each  e n g r a v e d  name beneath the moss ...
Oh, why do I want to D I G up all these lovely bones ?
