Love Unconditional
I have to keep reminding myself
“Thy Will be done – not my will”
It is the best way to pray I would say
Because His will surely is the right way
I find that when I pray for His will
I pray for the things that He needs
Me to pray for with a heart that is true
To give all the best that I have inside
I know that when I pray for His will
I am praying for the best there is in life
And whatever comes I can know that He has done
What is best for us all with His ultimate sacrifice
I believe that praying for God’s will is enlightening
Bringing about good things that inspire me
And encourage me to give with all my heart
From the depths of my spirit with real compassion
I feel like when I’m praying and I pray God’s will
I’ve given my very best to the prayer that says
He will take my best and improve it in each test
That reveals what God needs from my heart’s core
I sincerely hope that God’s will shall always be done
In my life and in those lives that surround me, too
For it is His Will that helps us to go on in faith and hope
Toward brighter moments, places where we can grow
I doubt that I’ve ever prayed a more sincere prayer
Than the one that asks for the will of the Lord to be done
Because it is this prayer that guides me to true wisdom
Reassures my heart and soul and gives me love unconditional
