Love That Never Dies

The years would come and the years would go Following their journey, I would often wonder Where is the laughter? Where is the glow? Will I ever know the beautiful heard in thunder? The years would come and the years would go Following the feelings, blessing so abundant Would my heart melt? Would I ever know… The splendor of loving, gentling so redundant The years would come and the years would go Following the miracles, the love God would bestow On the heart who believes and shines so… There is amazement, even in the darkest shadow The years would come and the years would go Following the silence, dreams inspiring the heart Remembering to shine like a brilliant Van Gogh, One who believes this love will never fall apart The years would come and the years would go Following the laughter, abiding in the kindest eyes Piercing promises, peace and praise, forever flow Awakening the soul to serenity, love that never dies
