Love Takes Hold
When your heart beats against my chest,
our thoughts combine as love takes hold.
And enjoying life at its best,
intimate feelings soon unfold.
Seeking no answers as to why;
upon love's wings, our hopes have soared.
And neither of us can deny
that since we met, we've not been bored.
A lifetime of dreams to explore,
we whisper secrets sweethearts share.
And together; alone no more,
we know our love is true and rare.
I am the one that makes you whole,
and you're the one that guides my soul.
