Love So Young

Pure is the devotion of love so young
Fragile is the emotion of love so young
Tender is the heart that beats so true
Confused over feelings that are new
You want to confess but you do not dare
For what if these feelings are not shared
Haunted by a love you cannot pursue
Misery and pain overshadow you
Sweet and sour love brings pleasure and pain
Brave or coward is the name of the game
Then out of the blue
They confess their love for you
A thousand suns are dimmed by your smile
Walking on air for a hundred miles
Happy is life for love found you
Sharing your heart with that someone true
But without warning the love ends
Heart so broken it cannot mend
Pitiful and lonely angry and sad
You hate the world that once made you glad
Family and friends comfort and care
Your pals let you know they are always near
Picking up the pieces of a shatter heart
You learn to glue life back part by part
Never can you forget your first love
Etch onto your soul is your first love
Life has mercy even when cruel
New loves will happen to us crazy fools
Fragile are the emotions of love so young
Pure is the devotion of love so young
