Love Shines Through
A soul is too beautiful to die.
But a heart will cease to beat.
It becomes still, ends with a sigh.
But one more task to complete.
The love that's held within the heart.
Is released and free to fly.
To the soul, of which it becomes part.
Then both soar into the sky.
When a loved one is taken away.
The love in their heart remains with you.
Although an earthly body cannot stay.
The love you shared still shines through.
To believe that death is not final,
gives hope that we just move on.
That a loving soul is eternal.
It is there in the beauty of each dawn.
