Love Rules the Heart
Barely nineteen, she took his hand,
some in her life, did not understand.
So different in culture, but so alike,
many told them, this union is not right.
How blind are some, they never see,
we are free to love, no matter our tree.
Love rules the heart, it's power is great,
and most of our decisions, from it are made.
If life was pre planned, what a boring place,
we may as well hibernate, and live in a cave.
