Love Manifesto
Remembering to breathe
Into to our heart
Is the best way to give and receive.
We need to start
Practice and believe
That we can live and work together,
Instead of staying suspicious and apart.
We cannot allow fear
To dictate how we live
And take the wheel and steer.
And if we feel lost and alone,
Practice trust
And stop living
From ought, should and must.
And to come back home,
Sometimes we just
Need to look in someone’s eyes and feel.
And in a moment of gentle connection And presence,
Have a chance to see that love is real
And our very essence,
Always near
And the only way to be
And the real reason why we are here.
So let us choose abundance
And live with thanks, in peace and joy
And know that to love and be loved
And to celebrate and enjoy
Our inner worth,
Is the best thing we could wish,
For every Woman, Man, Girl and Boy,
And all beings on this sacred Earth.
Life is not only about being happy
And having fun,
There are seeds to be sown
And much healing to be done.
And you and I have the power to create
Something beautiful together,
No need to hesitate,
We can make each day
And our World even better.
So let’s not wait
For someone to give us permission
Or different weather,
Let’s now follow our hearts
With love as our direction and definition.
What we need now, is love in action
And to become more aware,
Not get lost
In an old destructive reaction.
And to show that we care
And to commit to share,
Learn and grow
And sometimes risk and dare
To try something new,
So then we begin to know
That we do have a choice,
So let’s not be afraid
To use our voice
And ask inconvenient questions,
Because Love is the first, never the last
And as we choose and start
To respond from the heart,
War will be a useless relic
Of a distant past
And it’s also good to practice being still,
Take time to go in
And discover our inner treasure,
Our source of creativity,
The place with no limits or measure
And well of innovative activity.
So let us encourage the masters
In us and our friends,
Then we can expand and rise
And not descend.
And as we start to realise
That we can inspire each other
To even greater things,
There’s no need to compete or fight
And then we understand every being
Has a unique gift and special way
Of expressing their light.
So let us choose abundance
And live with thanks, in peace and joy
And know that to love and be loved
And to celebrate and enjoy
Our inner worth,
Is the best thing we could wish,
For every Woman, Man, Girl and Boy,
