Love Is What We Are Seeking
I took a leap into my soul
Diving into my dream state with purpose
My muse laughed, thinking it was a mistake
But ideas came forth and quickly
The world needs love – as much as you can spare
It is the antidote to the virus that is going around
The fix for fear; which must be annihilated
My muse backed off, amazed
I will let you write this one she said.
I sat in the sun and I began to play
With words we need more today than ever
Hope, faith, fear, and mostly God which is love
We have to all dive into our hearts
And agree to flush the fear outside,
Far away from the people,
Maybe the sun can shrivel it, replacing it with love
Love is what we are looking for
Love is what we are missing
Prayer and meditation must come into play
God is love as love is God. The sun winks at me.
