Love Is Pointless-
I thought that I was in love with you
And I thought you were different from the girls in my life
But instead, you were just the same…
You left me with a shattered heart
Now there is not a single piece of it left
It is completely gone, along with my soul…
So what…
It is not as if that was meant for me
I’m doing just fine alone, way better
Emotions except anger and hate
Just seem to always get in the way
So just leave me alone love
That will be the last that I
Call you by the “L” word again
Because you don’t deserve it
And that goes for everyone else
Since love is just a pointless feeling
Now I can’t stand to be around anyone
I prefer to be alone in the dark
And don’t bother to show me the light…
Being told “I love you” then being deceived
It is a crime that can’t be forgiven
Now everyone in my life must suffer as well…
So what…
It doesn’t matter too much anymore
You don’t need people to survive
Everything you decide is on you alone
No family, friend, or so-called love can help you
But I should say thank you
To everyone that helped me
Become who I am today
Since this thing called love
Will never leave you happy
So give up on it, it’s pointless anyway…
