Love Poem: Love Is Not Dead

Love Is Not Dead

Love is not Dead

I know thus now

For i have witnessed it with mine own eyes

As a Bride and Groom

Blessed with 2 young Children

Who had already been together for 15 + year's

Kissed and Cuddled like Star Crossed Lovers

In front of family , friends and other guests

As if they had only just met

The Love of Cinderella and Romeo & Juliet

But so, so much better

Because this was neither

Fantasy nor Fiction

This was True
This was Real

This was Factually

Love Actually

No Catch
Nor
Strings Attached

So when I Say

Love is not Dead

I truly mean it

Because I have actually seen it
With mine on 2 eyes

And if mine eyes don't deceive or lie

Love is not Dead
Love is Actually
Love is Alive

Love is the Prize
Love can Survive
Come what may

Love is what keeps the Dead Alive
So as in life
As After Death

Love is what Hatred
Should be met with
In order to overcome

What we as humans can become

When we loose all Faith

In Believing in

The Love that Binds 2 Starry Eyed Crossed Lovers
A Glance a look
A stolen kiss
1 single hug , solitary embrace
A smile adorned upon another face

That tells and says
A 100 years from now
I will love you
More than on this day we place

A wedding ring
And wedding vow

For nothing now nor in the future

Without your Council and by my side

I would not wish to take another step

As Love has placed me in your debt

For Evermore
And Everafter

You are my Tear's
You are my Laughter

You are the Reason for my Birth
You are my Purpose to stride this Earth
You make the Seconds Tick
The Hours Pass
My Glass Half Full

You are my Love
You are my Faith
You are my God

You are my Love
