homely, she crawls onto the floor to embrace
all the pain she acquired on her rough face-
for her scars were many, yet beauty internal,
she was awaiting her knight, promised eternal
depth of intelligence she wears shan’t break,
for chances in life she always longed to take-
she comprehends men more than the rest,
the realm of affection is her greatest test
but they see her magnificence deep inside,
and with the right man she shall never hide-
for she is the reason why love runs so deep;
being elegant on the inside, a secret to keep
an emerald gem for her heart was given,
from a man who worshiped the world she lived in-
now she sees what a real man needs in life,
her gentle heart soothing him as his wife
no matter the mirror, she knows his desires,
for he nourishes her and she inspires
