Love In Sonnet Form
You are that, which soothes my night,
when unsettled I rest not.
Your touch, soft as candlelight,
when gentleness I have sought.
Deep in your gaze, I am caught,
by the fire that they hold.
With you, my love, I want for naught,
as with strong arms you enfold.
By your right side, you do hold,
keeping me not below nor behind.
As one, we face life, as unfolds
our love that transcends time.
Of this bond, I am ensured,
as souls entwined, love shall endure.
