Love Poem: Love In All

Love In All

Love can be the sting in the fixated stare—
That melts black into a stony glare,
Because of the breach of armor inside,
Leading innocence by and by.

So much to tell, so look away—
While you wander on another’s days,
Safe to shutter, breaking the net
So each wing escapes their clip.

Felt by the eyes, you want—
To spark in their tears; but
Someone bleeds from this brush aside,
Lying in barbs on a chilled roadside.

Safe as the rain, for you to deny—
As bottled as the emotions within the skies;
Where from clouds, sun is meek enough to blink
On the silent meeting of you and of me.
