Love Go Away
What do you do, when love is through?
Does it just go away if you tell it to?
Can you pretend it wasn't real?
Maybe something you really didn't feel.
After loving someone for many years.
How do you stop, cry it out in tears?
Knowing and sharing love for so long.
I have to face, that it was all wrong.
We shared everything that life brought.
Now to wipe away any and every thought.
Do I need to take love and turn it to hate?
Can that be done quickly, or do I have to wait?
I am trying to make years of love go away.
Will it be gone when I wake up one day?
I know what the end result must be.
Lettting it all go, is what will save me.
