Love Dot Com
I accessed a website the other day
Not looking, but somehow found
You’d think I’d turn and run away
But, I thought I’d hang around
I started to read and soon got caught
In the game that all seem to play
But, this website had me believing
In myself, again, this day
It offered me hope, joy and even smiles
A mix of it all is what it gave
And soon, I realized, so sure enough
Why LOVE dot COM is all the rave
So many souls traveled to the site
Not knowing what was to become
Love sure came and hit me good
And may not have been as good to some
But, here, for me, it lifted me up
Let me know I should feel good about me
Now, I walk, with a jump in my step
And love is all you’ll ever see
This site that I have made my home
Speaks of the good news for all man
So love yourself, first, most of all
And do the very best you can
Be good to all that you shall meet
Extend a smile and handshake too
Allow the world to know of love
And the world will come to then love you.
