Love and War

Hello beauty, it's me, your beast. And even though we're both at war, I come in peace. Because this fighting between us is just too much. The distance so great, we've both lost touch. So can you forgive me for yesterday? This war were fighting, the words exchanged? Because between love and war, neither is sane. And I never meant to hurt you but war brings pain. So love is war, it's not a game. And I know I'm in love because I can feel the pain. The pain that comes from a war being fought. It's something learned that cant be taught. It's something experienced that you can't forget. It's a broken heart thats torn and ripped, then put back together but who knows what for? As another love starts it goes back to war. The heart in my chest, put back together, now a little more weary, now a little more clever. Now a little more guarded, I'm just a beast. A beast broken hearted but I'm ready for peace. So I come to u now, white flag raised. You're the beauty to my beast as I seek better days. Days without war so let the fighting cease. Because I can see on the horizon, love and peace.
