Love and Folly

The Lover's love bred many memories
It's fragrance filled the air around
As its tree blossomed secret sounds
That created chemistry and mysteries

Like children in games quarrels would arise
Forgetting their mild griefs it bore
Deepening love between them more
In a short time their folly would subside

Halloween and Valentine red roses
Became magic wands on these days
Beauty and true thirsty graces
They shared to show love in double doses

But one day LOVE and FOLLY played quite hard
The latter struck fast to ruin him
And tore apart the couple's dream
And Love tried hard to win again their heart

In grief her mother clamoured for vengence
Those for him said best was divorce
But they would seek not any force
Their wounds would not heal of similar fence

She badly brooded on each past petty wound
'Lack of comprehension,' he said
Of such vast issues they were fed
That no concilliation word would entomb

Some sage said they should forget and forgive
If love must really abound
It opened their minds to turn down
What led to trauma all that they believed

They shut out all heed to others' advice
They were Folly's follies, all blind
Limbs of anguish and stress to bind
That yielded such pain and itched like lice

Then Folly to guide them came from above
Thus realized the crossed couple
And bloomed again in love bubble
Folly meant no blow strike to their true love
