Love & Lust

The eloquent way that love stalks to the way that beauty walks
Have you ever seen intelligence talk; I’m telling you it should be against the law
The difference between love and lust is more of a see-saw
Love seems to eye you like a hawk as lust waits till the two of you are in the park
Love is beautiful and wants to talk as lust makes beautiful squawks
Love likes to hold hands in the mall and lust likes to act like a piston against the wall
But through it all from the summer to the fall
Love and lust makes a beautiful pair
Without lust, love wouldn’t be worth the despair
