Love
LOVE
Is love as complex,
As it is made out to be?
Or is it only simple,
For you and me?
Is giving so hard,
It is only done by a few.
Or do we give and share,
Because it is the thing to do.
The scripture leads us on the way,
they teach how to love and how to pray.
For love is kind and never fails,
So we live in love every day.
A parent loves his children so,
This kind of love we all know.
A family pet shares love from all,
It keeps us humble lest we fall.
But a man and a woman,
Shares love so true.
A gift from God,
For me and you.
It is blessed with hope,
For love is kind.
It protects and trusts,
Gives peace of mind.
The expressions of love,
May not be in words.
For many would falter,
Their love never heard.
It is a way of life,
This love so true.
Given freely from me,
In love with you.
