Love Poem: Love

Love

While out looking for love
it lead to a chase.
It was then that I realized
it was running in pace.

When I thought it was futile
began to retreat.
'till it wasn't much longer
that it followed in feat.

Love for a partner
could never be easy.
Getting one now
might leave me as queasy.

Blind it was not
I watched as it moved.
Was it a target
or something been proved.

Meet me for love
my sweet tender thing.
How long have you been there
'waiting my ring?

Come let us wed.
You know I love you.
Our passing in time
has lead to I do.

Love me forever.
Eternity chase.
If not for our hearts
fell out of the race.

Hold me tomorrow
as I wait for you,
as you wait for me
and love is for two.

Love's something hidden
and can never be found
because love's something given
until it comes around.
