Love Poem: Love

Love

Their love sailed the ocean
through storms and calm seas
Their love covered ground
some will never see
Their love shines like silver
and gleams like gold
Their love never grows old
just fresher, stronger, and wiser
Their love is a light in the night
shining out to sea
Their love is a song the wind whispers
through the trees
Their love is a shady place
to lie in the grass
Their love is a fond memory
from the past
Their love is honeysuckle
in the air
Their love is lyng on the beach
without a care
Their love is the beauty
of a rose that unfolds
Their love says more
than words told
Their love's as gentle
as a porch swing
Their love is a voice of gold
raised in church to sing
Their love is a smile
on a baby's face
Their love is bowing your head
and saying grace
Their love is Christmas
'round the family tree
Their love is waves crashing
in harmony
Their love is watching the hands
of someone dear
Their love is May
every month of the year
