Love
Love is the most loosely used four letter word
I can't live without you,
I question my existence without you,
I am dependent on you,
You're my habit and
therefore I would twist myself to be loved by you so I don't let you go because I love you
But is this love?
Love is giving, love lets you breath, love sets you free
Love is peace within,
Love is mighty and love doesn't cause anxiety
If you make a different choice today,
Do I have the heart to smile and say-
I wish you happiness in your new found choices and your better way
We know love in many forms-
Dependency, obsession, habit, arrangement,
adjustment, suffocation but none of that is love
Love is also not triggering love in someone and
then making their choice for them and giving it the name of letting go
Love is when you're in love with me and I come to you and tell you about my changed choices.
Your heart still aches but that ache has the courage to send a smile to your face
And helps you say, "I let you go because you wanna go"
The eyes can't decide if the tears are of the pain of seeing you go or of the contentment of seeing you content
Love is a lot of letting go yet love is peace within,
Love has no boundaries yet love is not betrayal either,
Love is confusion yet love brings clarity,
Love is mighty,
Love lets you be and love lets me be yet we can co-exist..
