Love

LOVE

Love can be defined as a feeling of deep affection
for someone or a great interest in something
enjoyable and in much simpler word, passion.
For passion is a strong feeling, emotion or liking.

Yet, there is also difference in love and passion.
Passion is intense feeling and love is tender feeling,
more deep and lasts longer and expresses itself
in action, the feeling is reflected to the deeds.

Love comes in different types and the first type
would be the love of parents for children, storge.
Storge could be followed by agape, the love of
mankind, if the child is taught to love others.

Then there is philia, the love of friends and equals;
loving siblings, cousins, best friends and friends.
Sometimes eros, the erotic, passionate love comes
early, known as romantic love between two people.

Love can bring happiness and joy, feeling content
or satisfied for being “loved” and for giving love.
Love can cause sorrow and pain for love hurts.
Broken heart actually hurts, deeply feeling the loss.

Love can affect a person tremendously for love
cannot be shown by words alone, it has to be
expressed in action, wherein, the loving feeling
is reflected to the deeds, to feel and act lovingly.

Love is a feeling that is enacted, feeling wedded
to the deed and unfortunately, love is expressed
in words with no action, no warmth at all from a
cold soul, just like an obligation or with cruelty.

So this meaning of love is being passed on from
generation to generation, the wrong conception.
Love can change lives for the better when it is
meaningfully expressed in words and loving deeds.
