love is the waft of perfume that gently passes by
caressing the nostril and awakening my soul
love is the memory of his smile in the middle of the night
his arms around me as i close my eyes to sleep
love is the full moon peeking through my window
when all is still and i put our wedding song on repeat
love is feeling blessed for the years we had together
that we can always cherish and no one will ever take away
love is the torment of separation that forever lingers
the reminiscence that carries on and tries to fill the void
