Love Poem: love, tousled -

love, tousled -

handfuls ...
fine argyle pleats
your breath burns ...
core-to-blood-to-exhalation

you are black flame ...
coursing veins - permeating all
pounding music throbs, carnal
tempo set to your sway ...

with you ... and in you, rooted
I find my igneous purchase
shapes fall and rise, arching ...
limbs like frantic fingers

sweet wafts of Love's Baby Soft
the tang of derma, divine ...
sublime umber tresses
sweeping my face like time

"tick-tock-tick-tock"
approach, the dawn
come, the apex ...
your fiery voice, moaning ...

my name.
