Love has me in it's grip holding on tight
Bound by the chemical ties love's disguise
How can I love one who manipulates
Even the breath that I draw in my lungs
Youth's energy could be blamed folly says
Attraction to one who has to control
Causes destrution of one's soul's being
Release me let my soul heal, time to find
The child, girl, woman, bride who was lost
There at the altar the one that lost me
But who tied me as an individual
To someone who lacked understanding
Help me find who was lost so long ago
