Love Poem: Lost Love

Lost Love

One quiet June night as Gusty Winds danced across the Ocean
I remembered you and our Summer Love to Magical Lands
Dancing Underneath the Moonlight we were Wild and Free
Unadorned from worry, riding the Celestial Seas of our
Midnight Romance. But it was to become our Last Dance…
A time of Impossible Love full of Empty Promise.

Our love Twinkles in the Sky as I dream On Moonlit Nights
of our passion. My heart beats like a Sweet Butterfly in remembrance
as I look upon A Bazillion Stars, see that We Should Fly Away
from our past--For we have Hearts of Paper Moon, love lost and torn.
Ours only a Love in Practice, once full of Sparkling Dreams in moonlight’s
beam. I found even A Heart of Gold Can Be Broken with fears
